Ontario – February 25th, 2008

The Ontario Kart Club Challenge, which consists of Sudbury Kart Club (SudKC), National Capital Kart Club (NCKC) and Innisfil Kart Club (IKC), have confirmed three dates for their inter-club racing events this year.

On June 13-15th Sudbury Kart Club will host the Sturgeon Falls Grand Prix, where NCKC and IKC will join them for a joint race.  Then on Aug 16-17th SudKC and NCKC will join IKC and Mosport Kart Club (MKC) for an exciting event at Sunset Speedway.  The final joint race will be on Sept. 12-14, IKC and SudKC will visit NCKC in Ottawa at the new Lombardi track.

All three clubs have agreed that the interclub racing that they did last year was a great way for the clubs to get together for fun times, and great racing.

Ontario Kart Club Challenge is not a series!!!  It is just a few clubs getting together to share their tracks and enjoy themselves for the weekend.

The intent of the OKCC is not and was never about being a series.  These races are all invitational races, and anyone is welcome to come out and join us.

Again this year, we will allow any tire that is used by any ASN Canada FIA affiliated club, and the classes will be the following:  Novice, Jr. Lite, Jr. Heavy, Sr. Lite, Sr. Heavy, Jr. Rotax, Sr. Rotax, Masters.  Any host club related classes will run at the hosting clubs events, i.e.: 60cc, Mini Max, World Formula etc.  If there are 5 or more pre-registered entries, these classes will also run at the other events.

We look forward to sharing another year with our friends!
