


The Sturgeon Falls Grand Prix is Set for June 13-15,2008

FALLS - The Sudbury Kart Club (SudKC), in collaboration with the West Nipissing
Zone Youth Centre and local Organizing Committee are pleased to announce the
2008 Sturgeon Falls Grand Prix Presented by Wildkart. After last minute negotiations, the event has been returned to
the calendar to mark the first event of the three race Ontario Kart Club
Championship (OKCC) Series. The Sudbury
Kart Club and the Organizing Committee promise to make this event even more
exciting than last year’s event!
This year will mark the fifth season for the event, which is scheduled
for Father’s Day weekend, June 13th to 15th. The Organizing Committee is also planning a
variety of activities around the kart races, creating a festival atmosphere for
the community and participants alike.
The event is open to all kart racers that hold a club license. There will be camping onsite as well as several nearby hotels to choose from and lots of paddock space available. Tentative classes for the event include; Novice, Junior Light, Junior Medium, Junior Heavy, Junior Rotax, Senior Light, Senior Heavy, Masters, Senior Rotax and TAG
Racers will be entitled to a full day of practice on Friday June 13th in anticipation of qualifying and the main events to be held on Saturday and Sunday. Entry forms and accommodation information can be found at the Sudbury Kart Club website.
